I’m currently in Venice, Italy enjoying this modern day water world.
My original plans involved about 3 months of traveling. Due to unforseen travel experiences, I’ve decided to add another month of traveling to the schedule.

The places I added are all in Eastern Europe. I’ve heard many of stories and great information about the places I’ll be visiting. Typically, Eastern Europe is less expensive and less touristy. Meaning you can expect great experieces.

I set a target date of a return back to the states on April 30th. However, that date is subject to change depending on if I decide to leave eariler or add a few days.

Here are the countries and cities I’ve added. You can also view them on my official Golden Book Traveler Schedule page.

All travel days listed are in the month of April.

Belgrade, Serbia (7 – 10)
Sarajevo, Bosina (10 – 13)
Zagreb, Crotia (13 – 16)
Krakow, Poland (16 – 19)
Bucharest,Romania (19 – 22)
Brasov, Romainia (22 – 24)
Istanbul, Turkey (24 – 29)
Arrive in Dallas April 30th.

I believe I am a little over the halfway point of my trip, but who really knows. Each and everyday is a new experience and you really never know who you will meet or what you will do.

It truly has been an amazing trip so far, and if it ended today would be the greatest trip I’ve ever taken. There will be a time when I sit and reflect on this European Adventure, but not now.

My trip originally was supposed to end around March 31st – April1. However, circumstances change and I have felt the need to add destinations based on travel stories and other people’s experiences.

I’m currently relaxing in Stockholm awaiting my early morning flight to Berlin. I booked Stockholm on a whim from stories I heard in Brussels. The same goes for Venice, Istanbul, and maybe Belgrade.

The isolation at times can at times be real lonely, but to quote George Clooney’s character from Up in the Air “I am constantly surrounded by people”. Which is true.

As of now the target date is around April 10th, but who really knows.
